This campground is on a very narrow dangerous road that you had better pray that you don't meet someone coming from the opposite direction. Not safe to bring large campers down! The owners do not allow any flags to be flown including the American and Military. They also apparently do not allow any temporary fence to be put to protect your dogs even though it is not put in there rules. No extra decorations like hanging lights. Definitely not a campground that I will never recommend. There is also no cell phone service either! The owner told us to leave on Christmas Day because he lost his 5 star rating because of our reviews! He doesn't seem to understand that is what happens when you own a business and the customer is not happy. Most other businesses have integrity and want to keep there customers happy. That's why this campground doesn't get much business!

Very peaceful. Beatiful river view. Loud racing close by on Saturday nights. Over by the time we went to sleep.

I reserved my spot for 7 days, when checking in, Gordon (site host) said "no hurry" on paying. I proceeded to my site, got set up complete. I have 4 small dogs so I always fence in a small area for them to use, and we ALWAYS clean up after our babies. Host came by said fence had to be taken down and dogs must be kept on a leash, also he told my wife to take our flags down (I'm a disabled combat vet who flies the American and Marine Corps flag proudly), I hated it but complied. At that time I went to the Facebook site and gave an honest review, then the owner shows up and tells me I have to vacate because I was obviously unhappy. You're darn right I was unhappy, I hadn't done anything against any written rules. When I was asked to take the fence down, I did so, & yes I was unhappy about it but I still complied and he evicted me (with a sheriffs deputy) on CHRISTMAS DAY! If people don't mind giving their hard earned money to a person that, in my opinion, is rude, hateful, and dishonest, go ahead and stay here. If you value your money, and want to give it to establishments that are, in my opinion, more patriotic, more pet friendly, and folks who wouldn't put people out on Christmas Day, I suggest you find another option.
